Welcome from Head of Learning

A very warm welcome to Copythorne Church of England Infant School! I am delighted that you and your family are joining our friendly, thriving school for children aged 4 – 7 years in the beautiful New Forest. We are a Church of England school and we enjoy strong links with St. Mary’s Church Copythorne. We cherish and love our family feel and the involvement that our friends, family and the whole community have in our school.

Our Christian values of Love, respect and compassion are very important to our school. The children have a clear understanding about our values and both children and adults live through them each day.

We understand that our purpose is to inspire your children, ensure they believe in themselves, so that they can achieve their full potential. The progress, wellbeing and most of all enjoyment of our pupils is paramount to us.  We aim for each child to leave Copythorne School equipped as lifelong learners, eager to enjoy life and with a love for learning. Our learning skills underpin the curriculum, which has been carefully planned to meet statutory requirements whilst offering exciting and engaging first hand experiences. We really value outdoor learning and make the most of our amazing grounds.

Our school is a place where happy memories are made. Each child is safe, cared for and learns to care for others. We support children in their learning to make the right choices and we challenge them to be the best they can be. We want children to leave us full of the love, compassion and respect that underpins all we do.
