This is available to all parents of pupils at our school through a parking permit scheme issued by the school, in conjunction with Hampshire County Council. Breakfast Club Provision
Our Early Bird Breakfast Club takes place between 8.00am and 8.45am in the school activities room, where children can have a variety of cereals and orange juice in a safe and fun environment. There are various activities they can enjoy such as colouring, drawing, small world play, puzzles and reading. Please contact the School Office on: 023 8028 2244 for further information.
8.80am – Doors open
Our school doors open at 8.50 and the children are welcomed into the building at the start of each new school day by their teacher or teaching assistant. We ask for parents to not come into the school building in the morning, to support us in promoting independence. Children come into school, hang up their own coat and sort out their own book bag (with help from the teacher or teaching assistant if needed).
8.45am – 12.00pm Learning activities begin
Water is freely available throughout the day but we would ask all children to bring a named water bottle to have with them in class. Just before morning break the children all have a drink of water or milk (ordered via the CoolMilk scheme) and some fruit. The fruit provided by the government and forms part of our ‘Healthy Schools’ initiative.
10.30 – 10.45 am Playtime
The children enjoy the opportunity to play with friends in our well supervised and exciting outside environment. We have a range of play equipment and apparatus available and areas for quiet activities.
12.00 – 1.00pm – Lunchtime
We offer a healthy school lunch cooked on the premises or alternatively the children can bring packed lunches. The children sit in friendship groups and are encouraged to help each other and have good table manners. We have a friendly and professional team of lunchtime supervisors who make sure the children are happy and help to develop their play skills.
3.15pm – Afternoon session ends
At the end of school, the children are led out to you by their teacher or classroom assistant.
