When a child is absent parents should notify the school by telephone on the first day of absence by 9.30 am. If the school does not hear from a parent or carer they will ring to check that the child is safe. The school expects regular attendance. Any other absence needs prior authorisation by the Headteacher. Holidays in term time can only be authorised in exceptional circumstances and should always be discussed prior to booking.
