The Oaks CE Learning Federation is a family of three one form entry church infant schools who work together under the leadership of the Executive Headteacher and the Governing Body to enhance the education we offer. The Federation is research learning community whose work on improving outcomes for our children through evidence informed practice has been shared internationally.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to join our successful team initially based at St Michael and All Angels CE Infant School in the Reception class. This post is suitable for an NQT who would receive excellent support from our enthusiastic and talented team or a teacher ready to take the next step in their career.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a reflective practitioner who sees themselves as a learner with high aspirations of self and others
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills understanding how to work as part of a team
  • Is enthusiastic and able to inspire and challenge children’s thinking

The Oaks CE Learning Federation requires a Head of Learning at St Michael and All Angels CE Infant School, Lyndhurst.

We wish to appoint a dynamic and forward thinking Head of Learning, who has the passion and the commitment to move our schools to being outstanding at all levels. We want someone who can enthuse pupils and staff as well as having an ability to engage parents and the wider community.

This is a unique position that will be an excellent career move for the right leader. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Executive Headteacher and the leadership team across the Federation enabling out schools to continue its journey towards excellence. You will have responsibility for the day to day running of the school ensuring continuous improvement and this key appointment will support our innovative approach to curriculum development, with an emphasis on developing our children as successful learners.

The Head of Learning will share a class with a teaching commitment of 2 days plus shared PPA.
