Children come into school,&nbsp;hang up their own coat and sort out their own book bag (with help from the teacher or teaching assistant if needed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The start of the day is a good time to pass on any quick messages or updates that might affect your child\u2019s day.&nbsp; The teachers have more time at the end of the school day if a longer discussion is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8:45 am &#8211; 10:45am<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learning activities for the day begin. Your child\u2019s class teacher will have planned a range of experiences for the class, which help to ensure that our commitment to high standards and a broad and rich curriculum are met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mid morning <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The children all have a drink of water or milk (ordered via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coolmilk.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CoolMilk<\/a> scheme) and some fruit. The fruit is currently provided by the government and forms part of our \u201cHealthy Schools\u201d initiative. Children are not allowed to have other food at this time and we do not eat snacks on the playground for safety reasons.&nbsp; Water is freely available during the school day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10.45am \u2013 11.00am<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Playtime. The children enjoy the opportunity to play with friends in our well supervised and exciting outside environment. We have a range of play equipment and apparatus available and areas for quiet activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10:45&nbsp;am &#8211; 12:00 noon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teaching and Learning time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lunchtime (12:00 noon to 1:00pm)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We offer a healthy school lunch cooked on the premises or alternatively the children can bring packed lunches. The children sit in friendship groups and are encouraged to help each other and have good table manners. We have a friendly and professional team of lunchtime supervisors who make sure the children are happy and help to develop their play skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1:00pm at 3:15pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teaching and Learning time continues, including a daily act of worship<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.15pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>School ends.
