8.45am – 9.00am Arrival

Our school doors open and the children are welcomed at the start of the new school day in their classroom by their teacher. This is a good time to pass on any quick messages or updates.  The teacher has more time after school should you require a longer chat. Please help us to help your child become increasingly independent by letting them come into school, hang up their own coat and sort out their own book bag.

Please note: For safety reasons the church carpark, outside the school’s front entrance, is shut from 8.50 to 9.05am and 3.10 to 3.30pm

9.00am – 10.45am Teaching and Learning Time

10.45am – 11.00am Morning Playtime
Water is freely available during the day when they need it. Milk is also available and can be ordered via the CoolMilk Scheme. We provide every child with free fruit or vegetables every day as part of our healthy school drive.

11.00am – 12.00 / 12.15pm Teaching and Learning Time

12.15pm – 1.15pm / 12.00 – 1.00pm for Quails Lunchtime
During lunch the children are cared for by our lunchtime assistants. The children eat their lunch and then enjoy playtime in the playground or on the field.

1.00 / 1.15pm – 3.15pm Teaching and Learning Time.

There will be a daily act of worship during one of the teaching and learning time sessions.

3.15pm The School day ends …Hometime!

Extended Schools

Before and After School care is available, provided by Playworld CIC,
who can be contacted on 07808 166 064. Clubs operate at Bartley Junior School and transport is provided by Playworld.

Breakfast Club: 7.45am – 9.00am

After School: 3.15pm – 6.00pm

Holiday Club: 8.30am – 5.30pm (subject to demand)
